Q: How do I choose a Home Inspector?
A: Call up and ask about their credentials and experience. If for some reason you don't feel comfortable asking this of the inspector when speaking with them on the phone then how will you feel asking questions at the inspection. You must feel that the inspector is qualified, experienced and attentive of your needs.
Q: What are your inspectors qualifications?
A: All of our inspectors are trained and/or certified by AHIT, NAHI or NACHI. Each of our inspectors adheres to The Standards of Practice set forth by The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and the ASTM Standards for Level I Thermography Certification.
Q: When Do I Get The Report?
A: At the completion of the inspection, our inspectors begin the process of analyzing and reporting the results. With our software, the client will typically receive the report within 3 days of the inspection.
Q: How Much Does An Inspection Cost?
A: The price of the inspection varies depending on a variety of factors. Some of these factors include size, age, location, components installed. However, the price should not be the sole determinant whether or not to contract an inspection. The inspector's qualifications, including his experience, training, and professional affiliations should be the most important consideration when determining what inspector to utilize.
Q:How long will the Inspection take?
A: Most Inspections take about three to four hours. These times may vary depending on the size, age & condition of the property
Q:Who should be at the inspection?
A: We highly recommend that the client always attend the inspection, or at least a portion of it. This will assist them in understanding its operation more clearly.
Q:Why should I inspect my property?
A: All properties require an inspection. Any property that is purchased or sold requires an inspection regardless of its age. New constructions can also have mechanical, structural, or electrical problems which can ONLY be discovered while performing an inspection.
